Aegis was founded in 1992 in order to create a more favorable loss experience that delivers better results than the traditional insurance market. Our goal is to provide third party management services to self-insured employers, high deductible accounts and insurance companies for all property and casualty product lines. After 3 decades of service, we are still going strong. Our management team has more than 70 years of combined claims experience, and our client retention rate is one of the best in the industry. Our company is actively involved in legislative reform for workers' compensation in North Carolina. Our vice president is also the vice president of the North Carolina Association of Self-Insurers.
